チャン・ヒジョンの25年の制作活動は、平面、立体、インスタレーションなど多岐に渡りま す。2017年に弊ギャラリーで開催した初めての日本での個展では、自ら撮影した写真を印刷 したキャンバスへ油彩を施すことで、デジタル印刷と肉筆による表現の融合に挑みました。 （それ以前には既存のプリント布地に油彩を施したシリーズもあります） モチーフには、韓国の花や磁器、世界的にポピュラーな作家の作品集などが登場し、鑑賞者 が持つ既存のイメージと、作品の中のイメージを行き来することによって、複数の「意味」 がもたらされます。
